Episode 12: Year End Review - 2022

Join us as we take a look back at the year as a whole. We will review our high and low points. While this is the end we also know there is so much more to come, so we will spend some time looking at the next year to come.

Episode 11: Legacy of Maiden/Beast - Part 1(Pre-Show Bitching)

Maiden is one the Godfathers of Metal and this may be their final tour. Unfortunately, for us this was our first time seeing Iron Maiden. In part one of this podcast we spend way too much time bitching about the events leading up to the show. Episode 10: Machine Head - Of Kingdom And Crown Tour 2022

We head back out to the burbs to see another show. This is our first time at The Forge in Joliet where we saw Machine Fucking Head, also for the first time. It was an odd night with many emotions. Recorded a few days later we look back to see just how wrong we were and how all the negatives we had to say were not all that bad.

Metal Vice, a podcast where we talk about all things music, well all the things we care about. Join us on this episode where we talk about that shit year where there was no live music, or at least there was no live music in the way we normally get it. LIve streams became a primary way to see shows. Is this good or bad? Is it enjoyable? Hear what we think as we revisit the few shows we saw.

Episode 8: Roadie For A Day

Covers are a staple in music. But are all covers tributes and vice versa? In this episode we explore this topic while we talk about our timing seeing Thrash of the Titans, a tribute band to the Big 4. During this show we also got to see two other bands, WonkZilla’z Zombie experience and Rehtek.

Episode 7: Five Finger Death Punch 2022

After five years we return to Tinley Park to see Five Finger Death Punch. Along with Five Finger we got to see Megadeath, The Hu, and Fire From The Gods. Join us as we discuss both the venue and the amazing bands on this tour.
 

Episode 6: Bloodywood - First US Tour

We recently discovered a new band, Bloodywood, and were able to catch them when they stopped in Chicago. Not only was this our first time seeing them live but it was our first time seeing and hearing of their opener, A Killer’s Confession. This small and very intimate show definitely left a lasting impact on us.

Episode 5: Lamb Of God - Amen

Just a day after seeing Ghost in Green Bay we make a short trip home. In this episode we look at the Lamb of God show at the Aragon Ballroom on September 24, 2022. We were also got to see Killswitch Engage again, along with Baroness and Suicide Silence for the first time.

Episode 4: Rammstein - Soldier Field

Metal Vice, a Podcast where we talk about all things music. Well all the things we care about, which is metal and live music. After a two year wait we finally got to see Rammstein in Chicago. With a unique opener for a metal show, Duo Abelard, this was definitely a show to remember.
